1. Who we are
Gateway Furniture Store Ltd. ("Gateway," "we," "us") is a furniture retailer incorporated in Alberta, Canada, with our showroom at 5817 Gateway Blvd NW, Edmonton, AB. These terms govern your use of gatewayfurniture.ca and any orders you place with us.
2. Orders and pricing
All prices are in Canadian dollars and do not include applicable taxes, which are calculated at checkout. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before shipping; if we do, we'll contact you and you may cancel the order for a full refund. Order acceptance occurs when we send you a confirmation email.
3. Payment
We accept major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, e-Transfer (Canadian customers only), and Affirm financing. Payment must be completed before we ship. For financed orders, you also agree to Affirm's terms.
4. Delivery
Delivery terms are described on our Shipping & Returns page and form part of these terms. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery confirmation.
5. Returns and warranty
Our return policy and warranty terms are described on the Shipping & Returns and Warranty pages respectively and form part of these terms. Custom and made-to-order items are non-returnable.
6. Intellectual property
All content on gatewayfurniture.ca — photography, copy, design, and brand marks — is owned by Gateway Furniture Store Ltd. or used under license. You may not reproduce or commercially redistribute it without our written permission.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Alberta law, our liability arising out of any order is limited to the purchase price of the affected item. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Alberta.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be flagged at the top of this page. Continued use of gatewayfurniture.ca after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
